We opened EPR on Friday night, and closed it on Sunday. At 9:30 pm (or a little after) we took the floor stage of Little Joy to bring the festival to rest. And we did. Little Joy is a bar, but the lack of stage combined with a riotous crowd made the night feel more like a house party than a club show.
This was our first official BRGR show, even though we have been affiliated with BRGR, and BRGR TV, before. Needless to say, being on the bill made me feel like a cool kid for the night, playing with the likes of Babies on Acid, Dirt Dress, Thee Raincats and more.
1. My little brother Javan came to the show! (pictured above, looking terrified) I made him work! He had to hold me up through Blue Dream so I could see over the crowd, and wave at the people lurking in the back of the bar. Photo cred to wunderbri!!!
2. I found my purse! Turns out I left it in the van.
3. The banners worked!
4. Joseph…got in a FIGHT! J is our wonderful manager, and the first one out of all of us to get in a fight at a show. He is such a badass.
I WANT TO PLAY MORE HOUSE PARTIES AND ALL AGES SHOWS. This is what I am working towards, now.
