This picture was taken by the lovely Kelsey Heng during the second night of our residency. She took a whole bunch, and they can all be viewed here
This was the point of the set where our makeshift sign fell on Chairman. Don’t worry, he was unharmed. Great powers, he has.
Trial and error is a big part of my life. I learn a lot everyday. And on that night I learned that I would have to make a better hanging apparatus to support the letters. I am proud to say that we figured it out, and the letters stayed up during the entire show last Monday (pictures to come!).
I have been having a wonderful time being in complete control of the stage set-up. That has been my favorite aspect of having a residency so far. I am sure we will be able to break-out the backdrop, letters, and other debris after the residency, but it will definitely be more of a challenge.
So in celebration of that freedom, the stage is going to be absolute chaos next week. Vum and Gothic Tropic will be joining us, and we are collectively going to destroy the Echo and take you to heaven, or maybe just a really nice place.
